Find Out MoreKayaks, canoes, sit on tops, stand up paddleboards. White water, open water, moving water… it can be confusing.
All you need is the desire to head out onto the water and have a new adventure.
Come along and by the end of your course you’ll have paddled a variety of boats, in a range of environments, and perhaps started to decide which branch of paddlesport you love the most.
On this course we aim to share our passion for paddling as you take your first paddle strokes out on the water. We’ll help you with the foundations that set you up for a lifetime of aquatic adventures and hopefully help you decide which area of paddlesport appeals to you the most.
No previous experience required.
This course is aimed at anybody who is keen to have paddling adventures.
It would help if you’re confident in and around water, but there’s no need to have done any paddling before. For most people, falling in is part of learning, so come prepared to get wet.
If you’d like the opportunity to try out a range of kayaks, canoes, sit on tops or stand up paddleboards and to develop your confidence and skills out on the water, then this is the course for you.
If you’re new to paddling, this five day course is a taster menu; a chance to dip your toe into the water, try lots of different craft and see what suits you.
On day first day we’ll pick up a range of boats, paddles and paddling gear then head to a local loch to try them out.
The rest of the week is very much up to you. We could explore sheltered lochs, gentle Highland rivers or even get out on the sea if the weather permits.
