Turn your passion into a career. Glenmore Lodge have developed the ‘NEW’ off-piste leadership pathway on behalf of UK Snowsport and Snowsport Scotland.

Leading groups on skis or boards in the UK winter mountains is both rewarding and challenging. The complexity of the UK terrain coupled with the harsh arctic weather systems mean that anyone intending to lead groups should be skilled and experienced. Holding one of the ‘NEW’ UK Snowsport Off-piste Leadership awards is a great way to demonstrate to your students that you are skilled, experienced, trained and qualified to lead them on some of the most exciting ski and boarding adventures in the world.

Sidecountry Snowsports Leadership & Assessment

Three days leadership training and continual assessment. The main underlying themes will be ski/board performance and technique, navigational foundation skills, avalanche awareness and avoidance knowledge and skills, leadership styles, strategies and responsibilities.
