Develop your paddling skills on the river or sea this autumn.

After more rainfall and the end of summer, we can look forward to higher river levels and more opportunities to get out on some fun stretches of water. Tackle some of the best paddling the Scottish Highlands has to offer alongside our experienced Instructors, who’ll coach you on how to improve your technique

West Coast WW Kayaking – Intermediate (9th October)

During this 5 day course, we’ll aim to paddle a range of grade 2/3 rivers on the West Coast of Scotland. We’ll make time to look at safe river running strategies, white water safety and rescue as well as developing your personal paddling on intermediate white water.


West Coast WW Kayaking – Advanced (9th October)

This course is geared for the white water paddler who’s looking to get stuck into some grade 4 rivers. If you’re comfortable on grade 3, with some experience of grade 4 and want to experience the rivers of the West Coast of Scotland, this is the course for you.


Advanced White Water Kayaking (23rd October)

If you want a week kayaking down grade 4 rivers, with plenty of opportunity to develop your white water paddling, this is the course for you.


West Coast Intermediate Sea Kayaking (30th September)

Our base on the west coast gives us excellent access to tidal areas and a good chance of finding wind and swell. We’ll focus on developing your skills to paddle in those conditions as well as covering kit, tidal planning, navigation and rescues.


Scottish Rivers Canoe Tour (30th September)

This course is geared towards the canoeist who’s starting to get to grips with white water paddling. We’ll develop your control in the canoe and increase your understanding of rivers, allowing to you put the canoe where you want it to be; anticipating rather than reacting to the rapids.
