Overview
So, you are a Level 3 Mountain Bike Leader already and really want to build on your professional development, stay current in the industry and learn new skills. Maybe you want to brush up on your advanced trailside repairs as you’re a little out of practice or this still feels a bit daunting, or you are unsure about your level of navigational expertise in more remote areas or just a bit nervous about guiding bigger groups on technical terrain either high on the mountains or on steeper trails in the woods – this is your opportunity to refine or just observe and discuss with other like-minded MTB professionals.

AIMS
Develop your thinking, practices, have open discussions, cover new practices within the leadership courses, plus enthuse you to keep current and refreshed with good practice. As well as looking ahead to the future of the sport and leading.
IS IT FOR ME?
It is for Level 3 qualified leaders, Mountain Bike Leaders (Scottish Cycling’s old version of the L3 – MBL) or those with other qualifications equal to the content of these set out by British Cycling.
The minimum age to attend this event is 18 years old.
CONTENT
The two days will feature a series of interactive workshops and keynotes focussing on topics such as leadership models and ways of working, improving personal riding to be better role models.
Mountain Rescue members will give input into advanced casualty management for remoter locations whilst Velotech trainers (Velotech – recognised mechanic qualification) will share an insight into what they carry in their trailside repair tool kit. Plus, industry professionals selling e-bikes and designers and builders of adaptive cycles will be on sight to showcase their bikes.
A series of structured trail rides giving you a vision and ideas to take away to add to your own lead rides.
