Overview

So, you are a Level 2 Mountain Bike Leader already and want to build on your professional development, stay current in the industry and learn new skills. Maybe you want to brush up on your trailside repairs as you’re a little out of practice or this still feels a bit daunting, or you are unsure about your level of navigational expertise or just a bit nervous about guiding bigger groups – then this is your opportunity to find out more.

Build confidence, help you realise your potential with your current qualification, cover new practices, and enthuse you to keep current and refreshed with good practice.

IS IT FOR ME?

It is for Level 2 qualified leaders, Trail Cycle Leaders or those with other qualifications equal to the content of these set out by British Cycling.  

 

The minimum age to attend this event is 18 years old. 

 

 

CONTENT

The two days will feature a series of interactive workshops and keynotes focussing on topics such as leadership models and ways of working, improving personal riding to be better role models.

Mountain Rescue members will give input into advanced casualty management for more remote locations whilst Velotech trainers (Velotech – recognised mechanic qualification) will share an insight into what they carry in their trailside repair tool kit. Plus, industry professionals selling e-bikes and designers and builders of adaptive cycles will be on sight to showcase their bikes.

A series of structured trail rides giving you a vision and ideas to take away to add to your own lead rides.
