Rab Self-Service Centre Opens at Glenmore Lodge

Glenmore Lodge, sportscotland’s National Outdoor Training Centre, and UK brands Rab and Lowe Alpine (owned by Equip Outdoor Technologies Ltd.) are proud to announce the opening of the first Rab Self-Service Centre.

The newly opened Rab Self-Service Centre at Glenmore Lodge will enable those staying, attending courses, and working at the National Centre to wash and reproof their technical garments.

Looking after outdoor kit is essential for ensuring it continues to perform in the challenging and unpredictable conditions of the Scottish Highlands, and helps to lower our environmental impact by extending the life of our gear.

Making and using outdoor clothing that lasts longer helps to cut down on unnecessary textile waste and reflects a shared commitment by Rab, Lowe Alpine & Glenmore Lodge to becoming more environmentally conscious. Those at Glenmore Lodge will now be able to maintain their gear more easily, but Rab also repair and wash customer’s gear at their main Service Centre.
