What can I do at Glenmore Lodge?

Whatever suits you best! Whilst your child is adventuring during the day, you can make use of our quiet spaces to work remotely, with access to tea & coffee making facilities and a fast wifi connection. Or you can join in the adventure yourself, either on one of our courses, independently, or just relax and take in the view.

Why should my family stay at Glenmore Lodge?

We utterly love the Scottish outdoors and have been helping individuals get outside safely for more than 75 years. From rock climbing, to skiing, to mountain biking, kayaking and more. We’re perfectly located so that you and your family can enjoy an adventure the second you step out our door.

What makes Glenmore Lodge an environmentally friendly option for our family holiday?

Glenmore Lodge is located right in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park  and surrounded by miles of natural trails, accessed right from the Centre.  Our grounds are an environmentally significant area, making Glenmore Lodge is a great place to visit with your family to help them understand and appreciate the value and beauty of the natural world here in Scotland.

Once in the area, you can easily travel by bus and we have bike storage for you to use as well. Learn more here about the Aviemore Adventure Bus.

Closer to home the team work hard to make our operations as sustainable as possible. Our building is heated by biomass, and we have EV car chargers and solar panels. Where possible we limit single use packaging and use biodegradable options. We love this place and want you to as well.
