Roller Ski Track & Range

The track was the first of its kind to be built in Britain and was built for the purpose of roller skiing as a form of summer training for Nordic skiers, as roller skis are designed to closely match the action and performance of skis, enabling athletes to train all year round.

The track is also used during our range of biathlon courses where you will learn the core skills of prone and standing shooting at 50m targets, as well as basic roller-skiing.

Glenmore Lodge is also home to local club CBNSC, who are an active Biathlon, Nordic & Rollerski Club founded by Olympic Biathlete Mike Dixon. Club members have gone on to achieve considerable success at the GB Biathlon Championships and GB Cross-Country Ski Championships as well as on rollerskis at GB Rollerski events throughout the UK.
