If you aspire to experience Scotland’s ultimate classic mountain scrambles, such as Curved Ridge on the Buachaille Etive Mor in Glencoe, or Tower Ridge on Ben Nevis, located in the dramatic Lochaber landscape, then this 3 day trip is ideal. You will develop a broad range of scrambling skills, whilst tackling some superb routes and is ideal if you only have limited time.
This course is a guided experience to help develop a broad range of scrambling skills whilst tackling scrambling routes in Glencoe & Ben Nevis.
To get the most out of this course you need to have previous hill walking (at least 10 days), additionally some previous scrambling/climbing experience would be useful. As mountaineering around Glen Coe and Ben Nevis involves a lot of ascending you will need to have a good level of fitness that will allow you to do consecutive 8 – 9 hour days involving over 900m of ascent over rough terrain.
The course is a guided experience (ratio 1:2) ascending some of the classic scrambles around Glen Coe and Ben Nevis. A great opportunity to ascend scrambling routes that you don’t feel confident enough to do on your own.
The West Coast location allows us easy access to superb scrambles, such as Curved Ridge on the Buachaille or Tower Ridge on Ben Nevis, located in the dramatic landscape of the Lochaber area. Whilst enjoying a Guided experience, we will also weave into the day:
