Dream of scaling impressive rock architecture? Of successful days spent cragging with friends and to increasing your confidence on rock? We can help you become an independent climber ready to create a life time of memories. Learn the skill set required to safely rock climb protecting yourself and your partner as you ascend. Learning to lead climb using leader placed protection is a real mile stone in a climbers career. It is also a crucial stage for a climber to seek expert tuition. Why not do this under the supervision of one our instructional team whilst you enjoy the dramatic beauty of Scotland.
Spend 2 days developing a solid foundation in lead rock climbing techniques, whilst leading a variety of rock climbs.
Most of the course will be based outside with all the climbing action taking place on real rock. Lead climbing, with the inherent risk of falling no matter how well managed, is risky. You should be aware of and accept these risks. You will therefore be encouraged to discuss with your instructor how you progress from day to day to allow both you and your instructor to manage these risks.
Meeting your instructor on the first morning provides an opportunity to discuss your experience and aspirations. We’ll target:
Instruction
Use of kit
Packed lunch and afternoon tea each day
In-course transport
