Overview

If you’re looking to spend the weekend paddling your solo boat on some classic Scottish grade 3+ rivers then this is the group for you. Your coaches will be happy to provide hints and tips if you want them, but the aim of the weekend is to go paddling.

Alongside your daytime paddling, there’ll be evening drop-in workshops, after-dinner talks, evening shenanigans from our friends at Hou Canoes, the Lochain Bar and a room full of musical instruments if anyone fancies a folk session.

DETAILED INFO

IS IT FOR ME?

To join this group, you’ll already have experience paddling on grade 3+ rivers. At this grade the water levels are critical, but any of the top, upper, and gorge sections of the Findhorn or even the west coast Garry could be on the cards if the levels are good.

CONTENT

The details are very much up to you, your volunteer coach, the river levels, and the weather.

If you’ve got anything you specifically want to get out of the weekend then let your coach know, but otherwise the emphasis will be on getting our canoes safely down some great Scottish grade 3+ rivers.
