CONTENT

This 2 day course is for paddlers who are working towards becoming a Paddle UK Coach. We’ll paddle a variety of craft, looking at the aspects of coaching that remain the same whatever boat you’re in.

On day 1 we’ll spend our time bouncing between between the classroom and the pond. We’ll chat through new coaching ideas before putting them into practice out on the water. We’ll work on into the evening on day 1, setting you up to plan your own coaching session.

Day 2 is a shorter day where you’ll run a coaching session. We can choose to stay on site or travel to a local loch. At the end of the day we’ll give you a clear plan to help you progress towards the coach award in your chosen craft.

Moving on from the Core Coach Training, we provide a broad range of coach training and assessment courses which you can find at Paddle UK Coach Award Training Courses – Glenmore Lodge
