DETAILED INFO

AIMS

If you’d like to spend the weekend skiing with a community of like-minded female skiers, then this is the package for you. You’ll ski in a team with other skiers of similar ability and work with your Instructor to decide on your destination for each day. This package is open to all abilities and groups will be paired according to experience.

CONTENT

Choose this option if you are a skier fresh out of the nest or still learning to master the difficult, unpredictable, challenging, but ultimately emotionally enriching offpiste backcountry skiing. On this package you’ll be heading off for a unique journey exploring the mellow, friendly wide slopes of the Cairngorms, which are the perfect classroom to ask all your burning questions and practice & perfect your backcountry turns. We will be planning to mix things up and may make use of the Cairngorm ski area and lifts, perfect for polishing up our technical skills before heading off beyond the snow fences and questing away to discover the wild and exciting backcountry.

Over 2 days you’ll grown in confidence and tick some of the classics of the Cairngorms. You should plan to spend the first day in the ski area if weather and conditions allow and then use the newly refreshed or acquired skills to undertake a ski tour; For example, one objective could be a tour of Lurchers Gully, a wide gentle strip of snow that we can ascend and cruise back down having topped out on a Munro. Your Guides will find the best routes available for your needs and the group’s needs.
