All of our programme is delivered by experienced, friendly, and supportive staff who will ensure your child has a summer holiday adventure to remember.

For the young adventurer who has discovered their passion for the outdoors, we offer 5-day courses in rock climbing, mountain biking, and paddlesports. With the same quality instruction that we provide for our adult courses, these are designed to provide the skills and confidence to young people who are ready to start exploring further.

- Important rules around residential bookings
All children staying residential with us must be accompanied by an adult. Family rooms are available. If you prefer, you can just book your child to attend the day activities. Timings for drop off and pick up will be confirmed nearer the date.
- Where is the nearest town/shops?
Aviemore is a 15 minute drive down the road from Glenmore Lodge. There you’ll find supermarkets, a pharmacy, post office, and a range of shops, cafes, and restaurants
- What is there in the area for us to do as a family?
In the Cairngorms National Park, there’s a great range of places to go not far from Glenmore Lodge including: the Highland Wildlife Park, the Highland Folk Museum, Landmark Forest Adventure Park, Rothiemurchus Estate activities (including Little Landies, Highland Cows, and more), G2 Outdoor Zip Trek, Fun House at Coylumbridge, Loch Morlich Watersports, and more. - How long does it take to get to Glenmore Lodge?
Glenmore Lodge is a 15 minute drive from Aviemore, which sits just off the A9. If you’re travelling north by car from the central belt, you can be here in about 3 hours from Edinburgh or Glasgow
- What facilities do you have onsite?
We have
- On-site Bar. The Lochain Bar is open from 5.45pm til 11pm and is the perfect place to relax at the end of a day spent adventuring, with a glass of wine, local beer, or a tea on the verandah, taking in the stunning views.
- A small indoor kayak rolling pool.
- En-suite bedrooms and family rooms
- Remote working spaces, with tea and coffee available throughout the day
- Extensive grounds with access to hundreds of trails, just 2km from the famous Loch Morlich
- We also have a drying room, which is perfect for your kit after a day out in ‘Scottish’ weather conditions!
- Can I bring my dog?
Yes you can bring your dog. We have a selection of dog friendly rooms. Please contact us on 01479 861256 to enquire about availability and additional charges
- Special dietary needs?
Don’t worry if you or your child has special dietary needs. Our Catering team are very experienced and will be able to provide for your needs.
