Glenmore Lodge is sportscotland’s National Outdoor Training Centre.
We have been delivering outdoor adventure training to children and adults for more than 75 years, from our base in the Cairngorms National Park. From beginners, through to delivery the country’s highest qualifications, we are passionate about helping everyone discover their potential in the outdoors.

We’re Scotland’s National outdoor Training Centre and have been teaching children and adults for over 75 years.
- What is the accommodation set up?
We can offer you a dedicated accommodation wing of the Centre, providing you with a safe and manageable space for your group. With flexible group sizes we can adapt this to your needs.
- What are the food options?
Our Chef produces hearty meals that can be fully adapted to meet the requirements of your group. We just ask for all allergy guidance beforehand.
- Do you have an AALA license?
Yes we are fully licensed by AALA (Adventure Activities Licensing Authority).
- Can you provide equipment?
We can provide all equipment for your adventure trip from our well stocked Stores.
- What qualifications do your staff hold?
All of our instructors are fully qualified to run the activities they are assigned. We are very happy to chat through and share further information about the team assigned to your trip.
- Risk Assessments
All staff are PVG checked.
All elements of our training delivery is fully risk assessed and can be provided on request.
