About Derek

Derek has been an Instructor at Glenmore Lodge for many years. His first career was as a Research Scientist before the pull of the outdoors grew too strong. Derek delivers a range of skills and qualification courses as well as the development of our Avalanche education programme.

Bill is a full time Instructor with Glenmore Lodge. One of the things he loves the most about spending time walking and climbing in the hills is being able to share that experience with others. Bill has been an Instructor for over 21 years.
