Annual Summary 2024-2025

Our annual summary aims to show the variety and impact of our work within the outdoor sector. Helping more people to enjoy the outdoors and benefit from a lifetime of participation safely. Helping more people to benefit from sport.

We achieve our greatest reach and impact through those people wishing to gain qualifications and awards. This year we supported 732 leaders, coaches, guides, or instructors within their training and/or assessments for outdoor qualifications, who in-turn will positively impact thousands of individuals with good practice knowledge and guidance.

We directly supported 2,829 people with their skills development. Of those surveyed, 90% tell us they felt more skilled and knowledgeable, and everyone reported that their training would help them explore the outdoors responsible and safely.

We were delighted to host 2860 people through a wide range of conference and events. Maintaining a key role for us in bringing people together to share knowledge and inspiration, be that through an exchange of expert insight, or enjoying our inspirational location.

We have continued to engage positively within our national forums and through our partnerships. National forums which aim to develop qualifications, inform safe participation, or develop national insight. Our partnerships have had a clear focus on supporting everyone to benefit from the outdoors and we are delighted to also launch our Schools Adventure Programme to support regional and national schools with a residential outdoor experience.

Our thanks to everyone who has been part of our year.
