Àban Gear Hub
Donation Point
We are partnering with local outdoor education charity Àban to support their gear hub. You can give new life to any unwanted outdoor clothing or equipment by bringing it to the donation point at Glenmore Lodge.
Donations to the Àban Gear Hub support young people from disadvantaged communities to access the kit they require to get into the outdoors regularly, enabling them to form healthy habits and make positive social connections.
how to donate to the gear hub
When you arrive at Glenmore Lodge, a friendly member of our team at Reception will direct you to the Gear Hub Donation Point.
You can leave your gear at the donation point, and complete an optional Gift Aid form.
Àban will regularly collect kit from the donation point to help stock their Gear Hub at Merkinch in Inverness, where it will enable wider access to the outdoors.
