We have a comprehensive programme of medical courses and have partnered with BASP,  WEMSI International & Wilderness Medical Training. Please note that after April 2013 the HSE will no longer approve and monitor first aid training providers. Employers will still have to ensure that they meet their first aid needs assessment & businesses will have more flexibility to decide on first aid provision which is appropriate to their individual workplace requirements.

BASP offer emergency & advanced first aid as two day course as well as a 3 day First Aid at Work & relevant refresher.

WEMSI International are world leaders in medical courses. These week long courses are truly unique, run by doctors, medical practitioners & instructors with genuine ‘in the field’ experience on ratios as low as 1:4.  

With 20 years of industry leading experience, Wilderness Medical Training (WMT) offer Far From Help (FFH Parts 1 & 2) each held over 2 days and the 4 day Advanced Medicine course (both FFH courses taken together), for more remote overseas expedition travellers interested to learn about medications, antibiotics, injections and other invasive techniques.

Glenmore Lodge supports the training courses of the Mountain Rescue Committee of Scotland and to access these courses you need to be a member of Scottish Mountain Rescue Team. If you and your team require tailor made training outside that available through the MRC of S then please contact us to discuss details.
