When we aren't using our accommodation for courses, it is available for anyone to book. Choose from our South Wing en-suite rooms, our budget options in the North Wing, or even our 4 and 8 berth self catering chalets.

8th June

Mountain Bike - Wild Wheels - 2 days

Develop the basic skills that make mountain biking fun. Learn to control your bike - not the other way round. Includes climbing, descending, braking, balance, body position, riding simple obstacles and skills for a variety of trails.

Introduction to Navigation Skills - 1 day

Learn the fundamental skills of navigation, map setting, interpreting scales, contours and how to keep track of where you are.

9th June

Improver Course for Navigation Skills - 1 day

This course is the perfect step on from the Intro course and can be added on to make a two day course. Introduces compass work, taking & following a bearing as well as route choice.

10th June

Summer - Navigation and Mountain Skills - 5 Days

Whilst exploring the Cairngorm Mountains and surrounding hills, this course covers hill walking equipment; emergency procedures; basic navigation and route planning.

18th June

BCU - Moderate Water Endorsement Trg Open - 2 Days

Syllabus: The day is spent exploring UKCC Level 2 coaching concepts to develop paddlers in a moderate water environment.

Mtb - Weldtech Mechanics Silver - 2 Days

Velotech courses are the industry standard qualification course in bicycle maintainence, this level certifies the candidate to be able to adjust, rather than assemble components on their bicycles.

20th June

BCU - 4 Star Leader Ass Open - 2 Days

This two-day course will look at all aspects of the BCU 4 Star Canoe Leader Award. The 4 Star Leader Award is a discipline specific award and you will be assessed in your chosen discipline and appropriate environment

22nd June

First Aid - BASP HSE First Aid At Work Revalidation - 2 Days

Designed to revaildate the 3 day First Aid at Work course it must be completed within the 3 year time limit on the certificate.

MT - Mountain Instructors Award Trg - 9 Days

This award is for instructors working in summer conditions and covers multi-pitch rock climbing, teaching rock climbing, scrambling and other mountaineering skills. One third of the course will be based in the Glen Coe area in comfortable chalet style accommodation.

Summer - Intro to Scrambling - 2 Days

Course covers movement skills on rock in ascent and descent, route finding, basic rope skills using a sling and rope alone as well as selecting natural anchors.

Summer - Improver Navigation Skills - 1 Day

This course is the perfect step on from the Intro course and can be added on to make a two day course. Introduces compass work, taking & following a bearing as well as route choice.

Rock - Intro to Rock Climbing - 2 Days

A short but intensive course covering basic rope work, belaying, abseiling & movement techniques.

23rd June

Summer - Advanced Navigation Skills - 1 Day

The perfect step on from the intermediate course. Most dates enable you to combine the two courses into a two day course. Introduces relocation techniques, catching features and more advanced route planning.
