During the week you will learn the skills to develop into a competent, confident Grade 2 kayaker
Targeted at those that have some paddling experience but need to further hone their skills or increase their confidence on Grade 2/3 water.
Designed to build on existing skills, this course will build on your existing experience, helping you paddle Grade 3 water confidently, personal skills, river running, wave playing, safety and rescue techniques and the environment are all covered
5 day course developing and practising skills such as climbing, descending, braking, balance, body position, riding simple obstacles as part of longer journeys, teaching as we go. This is the ideal course to help you get the most out of your bike and enjoy your riding.
Whilst exploring the Cairngorm Mountains and surrounding hills, this course covers hill walking equipment; emergency procedures; basic navigation and route planning.
If you’re used to holding other people’s rope and can climb indoor wall grade 5, then this intensive course will help you step up to lead climbing. Designed for the indoor wall climber, competent at bottom roping, who wants to lead indoors.
Introduces you to core outdoor rock climbing skills, whilst enjoying maximum climbing mileage on our local single pitch venues. Will also include abseiling and basic rope work.
Over the 5 days this course will cover rock climbing movement techniques, belaying, personal abseiling and there may be opportunities to experience multi pitch climbs.
Introduces those climbing indoors to 'sport' climbing. Most of the climbing action will take place at local sport climbing venues. Excellent introduction to lead climbing on bolts and a good introductory course for our Learn to Lead Climb 5 day course.
This course is designed for those who already lead sport climbs outside but want to develop their sport climbing and push their grade!
Develop a confident and competent approach to leading summer climbs through placing protection; constructing belays; stance and rope management; leading and psychological coping strategies.
This course is designed for those who wish to develop their lead climbing skills or if you are just getting back into the sport after a lay off.
