Skye is the ultimate scrambling venue and after a week exploring the ridges you’ll be ready to take on equivalent terrain anywhere in the UK. Covers route choice and scrambling techniques in both ascent and descent.
Aim of the week is to attempt a continuous traverse of the Skye ridge, the ultimate mountaineering expedition in the UK. Includes lightweight bivy techniques, route choice and scrambling techniques in both ascent and descent.
After completion the coach will be able to prepare a series of progressive coaching sessions helping athletes to develop their skills and to progress to TD5.
