Hosting an Event or Conference at Glenmore Lodge

As a National Centre, we are here for the whole of the outdoor industry. As well as delivering training courses for skills and assessments, we are also here to host events that support the outdoors. Whether you are a club, governing body, environmental group or commercial provider, we will be happy to help. You would have access to the lecture theatre, meeting rooms and outdoor equipment or expertise that you may need to support your event. Our facilities allow for a very pleasant stay with use of the sauna, gym, climbing wall and pool.

On-site Facilities Available For Your Event

INDOOR CLIMBING WALL

Great for learning in a controlled environment and for playing on.

ROLLING POOL

Superb facility for you to see what your instructor does under the water and for them to see you through the observation window.

MOUNTAIN BIKE TRAINING CIRCUIT

It is specifically designed as a training facility as opposed to a public play park, free-ride or cross-country trail. The circuit has several sections. Most sections are self-contained and enable coaches to work on specific skills. On a number of elements there are 2 or 3 options, each at a different technical level, to allow targets to be established and progression monitored.
A group leader will need to have been 'passed out' to use this facility.

GYM

Available for those who need to do more! Treadmill, cycle, weights, rowing etc.

SAUNA

Perfect for relaxing after a hard day.

DRY TOOL CLIMBING WALL

Learn/practice to torque and deal with flying axes in a safe environment . This facility needs to be used under the supervision of a qualified instructor.

LECTURE THEATRE

Our lecture theatre has all the technology needed for modern professional presentations from the pleasure of comfy seats. Seats 80 people.

BAR

We all need somewhere to relax, have a drink and tell our war stories. Our licensed bar serves bar meals too with amazing views over the Cairngorms for those long nights and an open fire for those cold nights. There is also a pool table.

TV/VIDEO LOUNGE

For those of you who hate to miss your favourite programme.

DINING ROOM

Food is an important part of any event. Our team make sure you get the best the Highlands can offer and always with a smile!

STORES & EQUIPMENT

Our equipment is top of the range, thanks to a mixture of sponsorship and a policy of using the best quality to ensure safety and good experiences. Hosting an event here, means that you have access to the equipment in the stores subject to availability. You need to book this equipment in advance.
