Introduction
So you would like to book a course at the Lodge? Well, it is very easy. Just follow our step by step guide below.

How to contact us:
Booking your Course
- Bookings can be made on-line for some courses (for NGB courses & International courses please call us). Simply select the course and read through the course description and the course notes to ensure that this is the right course for you. If you have any doubts then please give us a call on 01479 861 256. If you are sure this is the right course for you then click on Book Now and simply fill in all the required boxes. You will then receive an email confirming that you have booked on the course. Your invoice and course notes will then be posted to you.
- Bookings can also be made by telephone, please call us on 01479 861256 to book your place. Please have your payment card to hand to make a deposit to reserve your place. We are here 9-5, seven days a week.
- Our staff will be happy to advise you on availability and any pre-requisites that apply. If you book on a NGB course please have registration number ready. If on a BCU Level course, a copy of your C1 is required.
- You will be asked for £100 deposit per person to hold your booking. If an organisation is paying for your place, a faxed letterhead or purchase order confirming this can be used to secure the booking.
- You will be sent a course pack by post. This will contain a booking form that we need you to complete and return to us along with the balance of your course fee 6 weeks before your course starts. Alternatively you can pay your balance over the telephone.
- If you book within 6 weeks of the start date, we will require full payment at the time of booking.
- Please be aware not all International courses involve accommodation, transport and food. Each one is different. Please ask for any clarification.
- We strongly recommend that you arrange adequate insurance cover before engaging in any sporting activity whilst travelling or on holiday. You should note that many travel insurance policies exclude cover for certain sporting activities, so you should carefully check the terms of any proposed insurance policy to ensure that it meets your requirements.

Cancellations by the Customer
- Any changes or cancellations will need to be given to us in writing and there will be an amendment administration fee of £35.
- If you cancel or transfer from your course within 6 weeks prior to the start date and that place cannot be filled you will be liable for the full course fee.
- We recommend that you take out cancellation and curtailment insurance. Information on insurance is included in the course pack.
Cancellations by Glenmore Lodge
- Whilst every attempt is made to ensure that courses run, we will notify you of cancellation as soon as practicable where we believe there is reasonable grounds due to dangerous or unsuitable conditions.
- We will notify you of cancellation not less than 5 days prior to the commencement of the course (in the case of international courses 3 weeks notice will apply) where numbers have failed to reach a workable minimum.
- In the event of cancellation by us for the above reasons, you will be offered a choice of:
a) full refund
b) an alternative date for the course
