Did you know that Scotland ranks in the top five Mountain Biking destinations in the world?!!
The on-site training circuit was built with financial support from sport scotland to meet the training needs of the ever-increasing popularity of mountain biking in Scotland. It also provides an up to date model of environmental and sustainable trail building and is a role model for future projects.
It is specifically designed as a training facility as opposed to a public play park, free-ride or cross-country trail. The track has seven sections, several that work in two directions. Most sections are self contained and enable coaches to work on specific skills. On a number of elements there are 2 or 3 options, each option at a different technical level, to allow targets to be established and progression monitored.
This is a major asset to have in terms of training, fun and the environment for the mountain biking community.
For those of you who hate to miss your favourite programme or who would like to watch a selection of our adventure dvds.
Just in case you get wet from the weather or after a big day on the rives, we have a drying room that will have all your kit dry by morning, yes even heavy boots will be warm and ready for action.
