Career Highlights
Climbing the North East Spur Direct on Les Droites, and the Walker Spur on the Grand Jorasse in Chamonix. Parapenting from Illamani in Bolivia. Being Scottish Team Captain of our surf kayak squad and reaching the finals of the Masters in Portugal. Leading kayaking groups for the Lodge to the Alps and Nepal. Skiing the Poubelle Couloir on the Grand Montets, and taking a Lodge group to ski the powder in Kashmir.
Favourite Destination
Anywhere with neck deep powder is great. Kashmir was special, but 40 degrees off Meall a Bhuachaille has to be right up there.
What Inspires You?
Enthusiasm. Lodge people are full of it, it’s infectious and it drives me too.
What’s next on your bucket list?
Hopefully ski a few Scottish gullies.
